The 2015 Annual Anthemion Awards was held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Irregardless Cafe in Raleigh from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. This year, nine (9) projects and one individual received awards.
Anthemion Awards recognize outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in historic preservation in Wake County. The name “Anthemion” was inspired by a classical design element seen on many Wake County buildings, including the State Capitol dome in Raleigh.
From Adaptive Reuse of Commercial Properties to Town Plans, and Residential Rehabilitation to Lifetime Achievement – winners of Capital Area Preservation’s Anthemion Awards have all made notable contributions to the preservation of Wake County’s architectural landscape.
