The 2014 Anthemion Awards presentation at the Irregardless Cafe in Raleigh was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who came out! Over 120 people came to support the ten projects and individuals across Wake County for this year’s awards. Congratulations once again to the winners and thanks to everyone for your support!
Anthemion Awards recognize outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in historic preservation in Wake County. The name “Anthemion” was inspired by a classical design element seen on many Wake County buildings, including the State Capitol dome in Raleigh.
From Adaptive Reuse of Commercial Properties to Town Plans, and Residential Rehabilitation to Lifetime Achievement – winners of Capital Area Preservation’s Anthemion Awards have all made notable contributions to the preservation of Wake County’s architectural landscape.
