The 2018 Annual Anthemion Awards was held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Irregardless Cafe in Raleigh from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Anthemion Awards recognize outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in historic preservation in Wake County. The name “Anthemion” was inspired by a classical design element seen on many Wake County buildings, including the State Capitol dome in Raleigh.
From Adaptive Reuse of Commercial Properties to Town Plans, and Residential Rehabilitation to Lifetime Achievement – winners of Capital Area Preservation’s Anthemion Awards have all made notable contributions to the preservation of Wake County’s architectural landscape.
Eight projects, one individual, and one town received awards this year!
