The George Upchurch House move on June 13 was a huge success! The house made it safely across the street to its new home where it will be stabilized. The house will be sold with a historic preservation easement and a rehabilitation agreement. A rehabilitation agreement requires that a property owner undertake the rehabilitation of a property within a specified time period and according to the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
